Day 22 – Castrojeriz to Fromista

It was warmer today starting out and by the time we ended it was pretty warm and all of our jackets were off.  Not much to report as the countryside changed from wide open wheat fields to a mixture of small farms and even a canal

The news today is we entered province number four and we are now in Palencia. It is hard to believe we have passed through this many. We are starting to anticipate Saturday when we walk to Sahagun and pass the halfway point!

In Spain we started in Navarre then into La Rioja, Burgos and now Palencia.
Cafe stop this morning here.
Santa Maria de la Asuncion in Boadilla del Camino – one of the few open churches so far.
The storks like making their nests on top of churches.
The scenery was different at the start of today (here) and the end of the day shown below.
Entering Fromista is a two mile walk along a camel.
