Day 13 – Naverette to Najare

Not much to report today. We didn’t have a very long way to walk and made it to Najare around 1:30pm.

Last Sunday was daylight savings time for Spain so we also lost an hour. As we walked around Sunday in Naverette we saw many others heading out on the Camino and we sort of felt left out. Naverette was a nice small town and it was a good place to rest for 2 nights but we saw it all and we were ready to leave.

Coming into Najare, which is pretty small and spread out, we saw the outskirts of a town that is a bit shabby.

There were more picnic areas around the Camino in this area.
Just a quiet place to walk. Plenty of people do this on bikes.
Uphills have been rough but today we only had a few.
It still amazes me how many little bridges and infrastructure items were made for the Camino.
Highlight item for the day Pilgrim shelter – Alto de San Anton
Hey Matt and Tracey – no weeds!
Nice side of Najare
Najare like all the cities come alive in the evening. 7:30PM
Entry into Najare is not so nice.
Stork nests are a common site.
This is a typical looking restaurant/bar where we would have dinner.
