We explored quite a bit of Ponferrada today. I’m not sure why we call it a rest day when all we do is walk. One castle and two museums and we are done and ready to start the Camino tomorrow.
Please know the Camino winds through the historic parts of towns and cities. So many of these pictures are in the most attractive of settings. In the large cities off the Camino the city is, well, just a city with normal buildings like you find anywhere.
