It was more of a standard Camino day and slightly easier since we only went 11 miles. We were finally away from the boardwalk and now walking through towns. So for the past three days we have booked over 37 miles! That said, there was very little or no walking through farm land of forests like we had on our last Camino. This Camino is more of an urban walk
We arrived at our destination ,a guest house with 6 separated rooms on a nice estate property around 2:30PM – very early. The good news/bad news – the place we expected for dinner was closed and the guest house we were at was way out from any other place to eat. The good news is the proprietor of our house had a pizza delivery connection. So Janice and I and the other guests, a couple from Brazil/Florida, a women from Canada ordered pizza. There was a man from Belgium and a woman from Prague that joined us later. We sat family style at the communal table and enjoyed food/wine and stimulating conversation late into the night. It was a delightful evening, one you hope for on the Camino.
